1.Who This Covers
This policy applies to this website and to orders placed through the free 2026 Sturgis "Insane Clown" decal promotion, operated by Skull Society, 200 2nd Ave S, Suite 502, Saint Petersburg, FL 33701.
This offer ships to United States addresses only, and this site is intended for U.S. visitors. See our Offer Terms & Conditions for the rules of the promotion itself.
2.What We Collect
Information you give us
- Email address — when you enter it on the landing page to claim a decal, and again at checkout.
- Name and shipping address — street, city, state, and ZIP, so we can mail your decal.
- Phone number — optional, used for delivery and shipping updates.
- Order details — quantity selected, whether you added rush shipping, and the amount paid.
- Anything you send us — the contents of emails or calls to our support team.
Payment information
Your card number goes directly to Stripe, our payment processor. It is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation, the amount, and limited details such as the card brand and last four digits.
Information collected automatically
- Device and connection data — IP address, browser type and user-agent, operating system, and referring page.
- Usage data — pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, and where you dropped off in the checkout flow.
- Cookies and similar technologies — described in section 4.
We do not knowingly collect government ID numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or any special-category data. Please don't send it to us.
3.How We Use It
- To fill your order — process payment, print a label, ship your decal, and send you confirmation and tracking.
- To support you — answer questions, fix problems, and honor the 60-day guarantee.
- To send marketing email — new gear and rally deals, if you've given us your email (see section 8 to stop it).
- To measure and run our advertising — understand which ads produce orders so we don't waste money on ones that don't (see sections 4 and 5).
- To keep the site working and honest — troubleshoot, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms.
- To meet legal obligations — tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests.
5.Advertising & the Meta Conversions API
We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). To measure whether those ads actually produce orders, we send Meta a record of completed purchases in two ways: from your browser via the Meta Pixel, and from our server via Meta's Conversions API. Both are deduplicated into a single conversion.
In the server-side event we send Meta:
- Hashed identifiers — your email, first and last name, city, state, ZIP, and country are converted with SHA-256 before they leave our server, so Meta receives scrambled values rather than the originals.
- Unhashed technical data — your IP address, browser user-agent, and the
_fbp/_fbccookie values, which Meta requires in raw form for matching. - Order data — the amount paid, currency, product name, and quantity.
Meta processes this to attribute conversions and to build advertising audiences, under its own terms and privacy policy. You can review and adjust what Meta does with your data in your Facebook or Instagram Ad Preferences, and you can limit off-Facebook activity from those same settings.
7.Do We Sell Your Data?
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never rent or sell our email list.
Being straight with you about one nuance: California and several other states define "sale" and "sharing" broadly enough that using advertising pixels for targeted ads — which we do, as described in section 5 — can count as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under those laws. You have the right to opt out. To do it, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, block the advertising cookies, or email us at support@skullsociety.com and we'll process the request.
8.Marketing Email & Texts
When you give us your email you'll receive transactional messages about your order — confirmation, shipping, tracking — and marketing email about our gear and rally deals.
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you're out, usually immediately and always within 10 business days. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop order and shipping notices for a purchase you've made.
If you give us a phone number, we use it for delivery and shipping matters related to your order. We do not send marketing text messages through this offer.
9.How Long We Keep It
- Order records — kept as long as needed for support, guarantees, tax, and accounting, typically at least seven years.
- Marketing contacts — kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you, plus a suppression record so we don't accidentally email you again.
- Site and server logs — kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
10.How We Protect It
The site is served over encrypted HTTPS, payments run through Stripe's PCI-compliant systems, and access to order data is limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we won't pretend otherwise, and if a breach affects your information we'll notify you as the law requires.
11.Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live — California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and a growing list of other states — you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we've collected about you and how we've used it.
- Access a copy of it.
- Correct information that's wrong.
- Delete it, subject to records we're legally required to keep.
- Opt out of targeted advertising and of any "sale" or "sharing" as defined in section 7.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. Your free decal offer and guarantee stay exactly the same.
To exercise any of these, email support@skullsociety.com with the request and the email address you used with us. We'll verify it's really you — usually by confirming details of an order — and respond within 45 days, or tell you why we need longer. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.
12.Children
This site and offer are for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16 for advertising. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
13.Other Sites
Our pages link to and load services from other companies, including Stripe and Meta. Once you're on their systems, their privacy policies govern — not this one. We'd encourage you to read them.
14.Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when it last changed. If we make a material change to how we use information we already have, we'll give you notice before it takes effect.
